2026 Spring Monarch Little League

The Little League Baseball program includes divisions for all people ages 4–15*. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, Monarch Little League pridefully enlists the sport to strengthen its participants’ self-esteem and confidence.

Regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, MLL offers the opportunity for a child to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the program's cornerstones.

Whether you are looking to compete against local teams, neighboring leagues, or international countries, Little League Baseball is more than an organization. It’s a community baseball program operated by local volunteers and dedicated to providing any child with a fun and engaging youth sports environment.

Note: Ages for division are based on the Little League Age Chart. A player's league age is their age on August 31st of the given year.

WHAT

Minors A division is instructional. It is the first division where players see moving pitches via a machine. Coaches continue to teach the fundamentals of the game. This division is for players ages 5 through 7 as long as 5-year-olds have experience with Tee-Ball. There are no official umpires. An unofficial score and outs can be counted if the two teams' managers agree before the start of the game.

WHO

Player Eligibility Single A

Single A players are ages 5-7 as of August 31st, 2026. (Little League, League Age determination).
Advanced 7 year-olds who have at least one year of experience at the single A level and can comfortably catch and throw should consider registering for the AA division.
As of 2025 If a child is of league age 7 or below, they may register with any league regardless of set boundaries. Once in the league, said player can stay in the same league.

WHEN

There are two contact points per week for Single A teams during the season. One mid-week practice, determined by the team's coach, and one Saturday game. The season should end by June 13th, 2026.

WHERE

Games and practices will be held in the cities of Louisville and Superior.

HOW (Team Construction and Equipment)

The Machine Pitch director will construct teams. Coach and player requests are considered but cannot be guaranteed. If you have such a request, please note that during registration, along with the preference of coach or teammate.
MLL will provide a jersey, hat, belt, and socks. Teams will also have helmets and bats to share.
Your equipment requirement is a glove, cleats, and pants.

KEEP IT GOING

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members, and other volunteer positions within the league.

Minors AA Division – Machine Pitch (Ages 7-8)

Overview

The Minors AA division is an instructional league focused on developing fundamental baseball skills. Players continue learning the basics of the game, with the catcher position introduced at this level. This division is designed for players ages 7-8 and emphasizes learning over competition. There are no official umpires, and outs may be counted if both team managers agree before the game. Scores are not officially recorded.

Player Eligibility

Open to players who are 7 or 8 years old as of August 31, 2026, per Little League age guidelines.
Advanced 8-year-olds with at least two years of experience at the Single A or AA level, along with fall-season kid pitch experience, may be evaluated for AAA.
If interested in having a LA 8 year old try for AAA, please sign up for AA and an evaluation slot.
Make a note in interest in moving up on the registration form
Decisions to move up or down is based on a multitude of factors, including the evaluation, but also numbers in divisions.
Players league age 8+ must reside within Monarch Little League’s (MLL) boundaries or attend a school within the boundary. A Little League School Enrollment Form may be required if a player’s home address is outside the boundary but attends school within it.
As of 2025 If a child is of league age 7 or below, they may register with any league regardless of set boundaries. Once in the league, said player can stay in the same league.

Schedule

Teams will have 2-3 activities per week, including:
One mid-week practice (schedule determined by the coach).
One Saturday game, with a possibility of an additional weekday game.
The season concludes by June 13, 2026.

Location

Games and practices take place in Louisville and Superior.

Team Formation & Equipment

Teams are formed by the Machine Pitch Director.
While coach and teammate requests are considered, they cannot be guaranteed. Requests should be noted during registration.
MLL provides: Jersey, hat, belt, and socks. Shared team helmets and bats will also be available.
Players must provide: Glove, cleats, and baseball pants.

Parent Involvement

Parents are highly encouraged to participate in the league. Volunteers can assist in practices, coach, manage teams, umpire, join the local league board, or take on other roles. A Little League volunteer application and background check are required for participation.

WHAT

Minors AAA division is more competitive with the introduction of player pitch and baserunner advancement. It is an excellent stepping stone for future years in the Majors and Intermediate Divisions.

WHO

Triple A (AAA) players are ages 9 to 10 as of August 31st, 2026. (Little League, League Age determination). League Age, 8-year-olds with who have played in a kid pitch division in the previous fall season and after evaluations could be considered for this division, but is not guaranteed a spot in AAA.
Participants should reside within Monarch Little League's (MLL) geographical boundary.
Or attend a school within the boundary.
Or started play in Monarch Little League before their league age year of 8.
A Little League School Enrollment Form may be asked to be completed if the home address is outside the border, but the player attends a school within the boundary.

WHEN

There are three contact points per week for AAA teams during the season. At first, two mid-week practices, determined by the team's coach, and one Saturday game. After a few weeks, one practice day will change to a 2nd game. The season should end by June 13th, 2026.
There will be an AAA league tournament to finish the season, but this should be completed by June 13th, 2026.

Games and practices are held in the cities of Louisville and Superior.

HOW (Team Construction and Equipment)

Teams will be formed through a division draft. However, all players will be assigned to a team.
MLL views its AAA league as a developmental league focused on skill development.
Managers in all MLL divisions emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, player development, and fun.
In AAA, players' pitch and walks are allowed, although a maximum-run-per-inning rule is in place to keep the game's pace steady and help develop pitchers. Scores and outs are kept. One to 2 umpires will be assigned to each game.
Players who register for the AAA will need to attend an assessment. The assessments aim to ensure that players are registered for the division that best matches their playing level and to assist in forming balanced teams within each division. Teammate and coach requests are not allowed.
MLL will provide a jersey, hat, belt, and socks. Teams will also have helmets and bats to share. But at this point, MLL suggests players have their own helmet and bat that fits the Little League bat regulations.
Bats must bear the USA symbol. No other stamped bats are allowed in Major division and below.

Your equipment requirement is a glove, cleats, and pants.

All-Stars Eligibility

Players in the AAA Division are eligible for selection to a Little League Tournament Team (AKA, "All-Stars") that will participate in a post-season, Little League-sponsored tournament at the District 2 level and potentially at the State level in June and July.

The Major's division is a competitive level of Little League.

WHO

Major's players are ages 11 to 12 as of August 31st, 2026. (Little League Age determination).
Participants should reside within Monarch Little League's (MLL) geographical boundary.
Or attend a school within the boundary.
Or have started playing in Monarch Little League before their league age of 8 (7 or under)
A Little League School Enrollment Form may be asked to be completed if the home address is outside the border, but the player attends a school within the boundary.

WHEN

There are three (3) to 4 contact points per week for Major teams during the season.
One to two mid-week practices, determined by the team's coach, one Saturday game, and one weekday game.
The season should end by June 13th, 2026.
There may be a Major's tournament to finish the season, but this should be completed by June 13th, 2026.

WHERE

Practices are held in the cities of Louisville and Superior. Games will be held in Louisville and Superior. There is a potential that games could be played in the surrounding leagues' home fields (Lafayette, Boulder, Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield, et al.)

HOW (Team Construction and Equipment)

Teams will be formed through a division draft. However, all players will be assigned to a team. Scores and outs are kept. One to 2 umpires will be assigned to each game.
Players who register for the Majors will attend an assessment. The assessments aim to ensure that players are registered for the division that best matches their playing level and to assist in forming balanced teams within each division.
Players of league age 10 are not guaranteed assignments to a Major's team. If this occurs, the player will be transferred to AAA.
Teammate and coach requests are not allowed.
MLL will provide a jersey, hat, belt, and socks. Teams will also have helmets and bats to share. But at this point, MLL suggests players have a helmet and a bat that fit the Little League bat regulations.
